Best Western Los Angeles Worldport Hotel

For the price, this is a practical and convenient place, especially if you're going to or from the port. The hotel is a bit older but well maintained. Our room was clean and comfortable, with what we needed for a short visit, and the friendly staff made check-in quick and easy. We had a solid stay at Best Western Los Angeles Worldport Hotel and would consider coming back.

Parking felt a little tight, and I wouldn't choose this place the night before a cruise ship leaves Long Beach. The walls are thin, so noise carries from outside and from other rooms. A room facing the dilapidated apartments behind the property comes with that view. Otherwise, it's a typical BW: nice rooms, decent cable selection, nice TVs, and a microwave and refrigerator. Water pressure was good. The standard 2'X2' pillows weren't great. There's no business center, but the front desk ladies printed my documents for me, so kudos to them. I'm about 50/50 on staying again.

For a hotel this age, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were super friendly, and breakfast was a notch above. We left our truck here during a 7 day cruise for $80 US, and an Uber ride to the port took 10 minutes. I'd definitely return and recommend it for an overnight stay before a cruise from San Pedro or Long beach.

The room furnishings were nice, and the place was clean. The mattresses felt extra soft, so if you need a firmer bed, you might be able to ask the front desk. I didn't think to ask when I checked in. The Wilmington location was convenient, breakfast was great, and every staff member we met during our two days there was friendly and professional.
