Ramada by Wyndham Los Angeles/Koreatown West

The area had plenty of cafés and places to eat, and the location was excellent. At night it felt a little unsettled, so I wouldn't walk around then. Parking was free, which is rare these days, though it could fill up if you arrived late. Thanks to the friendly security officer who let me park outside the marked spaces. I only used the room to sleep and didn't make much use of the hotel's services. The bed was comfortable, and there was coffee in the room. It was clean, and the excellent housekeeping kept it tidy. The front desk staff were always smiling and friendly. The room showed its age and didn't have many outlets for charging devices. The hotel was okay if you keep your expectations in check, but a bit dated and pricey.

I picked this hotel because it's right down the street from the Wiltern, and that location was perfect for me. I made a small reservation change before arriving, and the person I spoke to was very nice. The same agent handled check-in and checkout, and was lovely both times. The room was spotless, the beds were very comfortable, and I liked the walk-in shower and its water pressure. It's a medium-priced hotel, neither fancy nor basic, and I was happy there. Free parking was a major plus. Thanks, guys!

Ashley at the front desk was the best part of the stay. She greeted us kindly, took time to get to know us, and knew the nearby restaurant options well. The location was good too, with several restaurants and things to do close by. There's a gym across the street and a coffee shop around the corner, both useful since the hotel has no gym or breakfast. The building is very old and uneven. We could feel the slope in the room and hallway, and the laminate floors didn't help. When I went to sit on the bed, it slid because it wasn't anchored, and I nearly fell. Sirens were frequent, and there was no hot running water, so we had to shower cold. I was told the credit card deposit would be refunded in 1-2 business days, but after four days it still hadn't arrived. We were very disappointed, found it way overpriced, and don't recommend it.

There’s a coffee shop across the street and a small pizza place attached, which was handy. The staff were friendly and professional, and free parking is a real plus in LA. My room was clean, spacious, and had what I needed, though the furniture felt dated and the beds were only average. Ramada is okay, but no-frills and not great. It works for a short stay or quick trip, as long as you aren't expecting luxury.
