Management was easy to work with, and I still had a pleasant stay. It was really convenient to be within walking distance of the Event Center. My only gripe was how dated the place felt, with lots of scuff marks on the walls taking away from its beauty.

The check-out directions sent us looking for a key drop box that had been removed several days earlier and not replaced. We read them carefully, searched for 30-45 minutes, then asked cleaning staff, who told us. That bad information made us late for our flight. Room keys cost $150 each to replace, so we really didn’t want to risk being charged. Not cool. For the price, this is one of the best options around. Even the most basic accommodation had a full kitchen, dishwashing pods, a washer and dryer with detergent, and was clean, spacious, and comfortable. There’s free access to an in-house gym and pool, and the interior decor was lovely. Downtown places seem to be either really expensive or cheap and really crappy, with few in between, but this one is economical and nice. The location is excellent for walking, with bus stops nearby, a nice enough street view, and a big window. Employees were courteous and went out of their way to help. They worked hard to get us checked in several hours early, and the front desk employee even carried our luggage from the check-in office to the building, though that wasn’t clearly part of his job. They answered the phone before opening when we had checkout trouble, brought extra towels, trash bags, and toilet paper when asked, and were ready to safely get us a package when we thought one might be delivered. The check-in office is a walk from the building, inconvenient with luggage. The blinds let in the sunlight, so sleeping in wasn’t really possible. There’s no housekeeping, and guests have to take out trash and wash towels themselves, though soap and trash bags are provided.

Nice building and no carpet in the suite. The kitchen had enough utensils for cooking, and there was a nice gym and rooftop jacuzzi. Check-in was a hassle, though, since it took a long time and happened at another address.

That check-in system was nightmarish and so dysfunctional. I’d warn people not to go there unless they want to get in trouble.
