I had a good stay, and Aysia was kind and helpful. The place has the feel of a quiet, independent little hostel abroad. It’s co-ed, but the community generally felt safe and trustworthy, and I was comfortable leaving my valuables in my bunk while I went out. The wooden cubbies are a real plus. They feel sturdier and more like a personal nook than a metal bunk, and there’s room to store things. The shared area also feels thoughtfully arranged and homey, so it’s pleasant to spend downtime there. There’s a quiet, lights-out policy at night, which made it easier to sleep without people coming in noisily late or using phone flashlights. There are no bed curtains, as the setup is meant to feel open and social. I was unsure about that before arriving, but got used to it quickly, and as an introvert I was fine with it. If you want a bit more privacy, the upper bunks feel less exposed than the lower ones. They had free vegetables in the kitchen, plus a travel bottle with shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. If your travel plans allow, checking in around the early afternoon changeover seems easiest, especially if you have questions for the onsite staff.
