Rosa Bell Motel - Los Angeles

The room smelled bad, there were roaches throughout it, and the sink water tasted and smelled unpleasant when I brushed my teeth. We got just two stained, dirty towels for our family of four, and the blankets looked like they hadn’t been washed for a while. When we asked for clean towels, the man in the office was rude and refused. Around 6 a.m., a security guard had a loud conversation right next to our room with someone I took to be transient. We’d reserved a room for two nights a month ahead, had confirmation, and had already paid. We called several times on the day but got no answer. When my husband and I arrived at night with our two children, we were told there were no rooms for us. They eventually gave us a tiny room with nowhere for our luggage, so we had to leave it in the car. The room had roaches, and the motel is in a bad neighborhood. It also looked nothing like the website pictures. We slept in our clothes because the bedding and towels were dirty. We cancelled the second night and left by 7 a.m., but they refused to refund it even though they’d lost our reservation and given us a dirty, roach-infested room. I don’t recommend this motel.
