Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles Hotel

The airport views are great, and the rooms feel modern after the remodel. They were clean and comfortable, and the staff were really nice. There’s also a good shuttle, plus a restaurant and bar on site. It’s very close to the airport, just off Century Blvd. My main gripe was self-parking. It’s about a $24 nightly charge and a bit of a walk, and leaving and returning by car can add up at $9 every 15 minutes.

The airport shuttle is free and comes every 20 minutes, so the location is really convenient. I’d stay again. I was there for one night and had a clean, updated room with a comfortable king bed, a good-sized bathroom, a shower stall, and double sinks. Check-in was friendly, and they accepted Marriott Bonvoy. The lobby coffee shop has Starbucks and enough breakfast options for takeout or eating there.

The room was spacious, and check-in and checkout were quick. The front desk always seemed well staffed. It’s close to LAX, and the airport shuttle was easy and fast, so I’d be open to staying again. I could see the runway, but planes weren’t the main noise issue. Sound carried more from the hallway, and the room could use better soundproofing. The elevators were slow enough that I waited a few minutes more than once. The bed also felt too warm, possibly because of the mattress.

We had a room overlooking the airport, and watching the planes was pretty cool. It was clean and comfortable, just like the rest of our stay. The hotel has a spacious feel, with a relaxing outdoor pool area and a Starbucks inside, which was handy. We really liked staying at the Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles Hotel near LAX Airport. We’ll be back next time we land in LA.
