For $120 on Valentine's Day, this was great. I expected the worst, especially when every other hotel nearby was going for $500 to $1,000, but the staff were friendly and my room was clean with no bad smells. No complaints, and it made for a great trip. Parking was $20 around the corner. People writing negative reviews expect far too much from a cheap stay in the heart of Hollywood. If you're rich and want luxury, pay luxury prices somewhere else.

Management were friendly and hospitable, but I wouldn't stay again. The rooms are so tiny there's barely space for anything besides a bed, and the walls were dirty. I checked the mattress for bed bugs and luckily didn't find any. I'm a woman who was traveling alone, and the parking was a safety concern: they charged $30 to park a block away at a gas station, something the reservation hadn't mentioned. The neighborhood felt bad, and walking back from that lot didn't feel safe. I booked for convenience, but the parking made it inconvenient.

The pictures make it look alright, but the mattress and sheets had cigarette stains, and the AC barely worked. Parking costs an extra $30 a day at a gas station lot. The owner needs to put money back into the infrastructure. For that price, I'd recommend a higher-class hotel for a better stay and peace of mind.

We had a luggage problem and the staff helped us a lot. The rooms are spacious and clean, and downtown Hollywood is within walking distance. It's affordable and excellent. I'll be back.

A lovely little quaint hotel right in the heart of Hollywood. The accommodations were great, and all the major attractions were close enough to walk to.
