I only saw the outside, but the building looks nice. The architecture has these cool swirls, and there’s a cute lobby area outdoors with fountains nearby. No idea what’s inside, though.

You can see this tower from above when you’re at the US Bank Tower, so I don’t get how it’s called the tallest building in LA. That claim seems to rely on the spire, which feels like an architectural trick. They should admit it isn’t the tallest tower.

I had a great stay here, and it’s one of my personal favorites. There’s a pool, several bars nearby, and a great view of downtown LA. The staff are really nice, too. The room had comfy beds and a good bathroom, plus a food menu and paid snacks in a drawer. They also park your car when you arrive.

The panoramic 360 view of Los Angeles from the 70th floor is worth seeing. You can even sneak into the men’s bathroom to look at people peeing by a glass waterfall window. The staff can be a little snooty, but our cocktail waitress had a good attitude. We loved her, even while she served our $6 Diet Coke. A must-see.
