Baymont by Wyndham Louisville Airport South

For 74 dollars plus taxes, I expected decent service. Instead, the rooms were dirty and not taken care of, and the housekeepers were shouting to each other loudly in the morning. They also asked for a 100 dollars deposit at check-in. I wasn't upset that they needed to inspect the room at checkout, but it took some time to find someone to go check it before I could leave. I don't recommend this place. You can get much better service and a better hotel in the city for this price. Run.

The frontline staff were polite and communicated well. The rest of my stay at Baymont by Wyndham was a letdown, largely because of the management and its policies, which I found unreasonable and not in line with Wyndham standards. Checkout is at 9:30 AM even on weekends, and breakfast ends at 9:00 AM, both inconvenient times. I haven't run into such restrictive rules at another Wyndham property. Breakfast had poor quality and very few choices, and there was no hot water for guests at night. The stay fell short of basic hospitality expectations. I won't book this property again and don't recommend it.

The beds were good, and there’s plenty of parking for a big truck. There are also good coffee and dining options within walking distance. I stayed a couple of nights for work, though, and the room was damp enough to smell when we came in at night. The restroom floor was slippery too. Our window looked right over a “river” with trash around it. Breakfast was simple, with few choices, and no scrambled eggs or omelettes, which was a bummer. It’s decent enough for a night or two, but there are probably better options.

The beds were dirty, and the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned at all. There was hair in the tub, and when I turned on the shower, water filled up with hair and pubes floating in it. The toilet paper rolls had already been used and weren't in their paper. The phone didn't work, and the TV guide was completely off. Worst experience ever.
