The bathroom had scraped-up wallpaper, a crusty soap dispenser with old soap, and a rusty toilet paper roll holder hanging off. We couldn’t get hot water in the shower or tub, which was awful. The Inn Keeper controlled the heat, so the Dupont Room was like an oven. We asked twice to have it turned down but still couldn’t sleep comfortably. Even the continental breakfast at a franchise hotel was better than the tiny portions here. We cut our trip short because the stay wasn’t comfortable or relaxing. Very disappointed.

I stayed for the Louder Than Life festival and had a really enjoyable time. The hosts were kind, friendly, and helpful, and the food was delicious. I’m gluten free, and they made sure my dietary needs were taken care of. I’d definitely stay again if I come back to Louisville!

My husband and I had a great time here for Louder Than Life. The bed was super comfy, breakfast was delicious, and the house is beautiful. Parking in back was convenient, with street parking nearby if that filled up. We didn’t have time to explore more of the house or the historic area, but we’ll definitely be back.

We'd stayed here before, so it was nice to spend another night at this beautiful old mansion while passing through Louisville. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, thanks to Meg, and we enjoyed chatting with the other guests.

The owner stopped by and shared some of the house's history, which was a nice touch. During our March 2025 visit, part of our group stayed at The Dupont Mansion while the rest of us were elsewhere. The rooms were spacious and well supplied, and the furnishings were lovely. Everything was spotlessly clean, and breakfast was better than we'd expected. It was easy to get to Old Louisville, downtown, the river, and the other places we visited. We also walked to a couple of nearby restaurants. I highly recommend staying here.
