Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Louisville Northeast

I was staying here to help a family member recover from surgery, and the hotel and its staff made the visit less stressful and more comfortable. The location was handy, with plenty of restaurants and shopping centers nearby. Housekeeping kept the rooms clean and in good shape, and I have no complaints there. The front desk and night audit representatives each brought something of their own to the hotel. They greeted people with smiles and were always accommodating to me and others. It was a great stay. Thank you to the staff for all the hard work and care.

We had a solid stay, with friendly service and a convenient location. There’s free parking, plus a movie theater, several restaurants, and a Target nearby. We arrived late on check-in day and could walk to a pizza place to pick up food, which was handy. The queen beds were comfortable, but the sofa bed wasn’t. You could feel the coils, so I wouldn’t want to sleep on it. The walls were thin enough that ordinary conversation carried between rooms, and we got complaints from neighbors even though we weren’t being loud. Better soundproofing would help.

The best part was the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful, especially the woman from Columbia who worked in the kitchen at breakfast. She was amazing, cheerful, hardworking, and always ready to help. She’s a real treasure, and I wish I had employees like her. I’d stay here again. It’s about a 20-minute drive from downtown Louisville.

We had room 329, which was spacious and a great size for three travelers. The hotel looked lovely, was very clean, and had nice decor. Staff were friendly, too. Breakfast ended too early for us. The weekday hours were 6:30 to 9 a.m., and a lot of guests came down at once. Everything was packed away by 9. If cleanup had started then, we might have had a chance to eat. We managed to grab a couple of leftover scraps, but it wasn’t the start to the day we’d hoped for. The juice was gone and the cereal had been put away. Extending breakfast until 10 would give people with different schedules more of a chance.
