There are five units, each with its own character, so contact Key Source Properties before booking if you have specific needs, especially if your reservation will be non-refundable. Justin was extremely courteous and did his best to take care of what we needed. We were expecting a couple of things that weren’t there, but he helped as much as he could. I wish I’d taken photos when we arrived because the room was marvelous. Our travel basketball club will most definitely book the whole space next summer.

We’re staying here for Forecastle Festival and have found it easy to get around from this central location. The place is clean, bright, has everything we need, and, most importantly, stays nice and cool. We still have two nights left, but so far it’s been a great experience. We’d definitely come back.

The biggest problem was that another guest got into my Airbnb after I’d checked in. I was inside when it happened, but they’d been given my entry code. I contacted the host through the app, and he called in a rude, condescending tone. He insisted this couldn’t happen and said guests weren’t allowed to check in until 3, though it was only mid-morning when I reached out. It did happen, and policing check-in times wasn’t my responsibility. He kept denying it and offered no solution. He came down hours later. I didn’t trust Key/Howard Hardy to keep my belongings safe after that, and the employees’ phone manner was unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend this Airbnb or any managed by the company. My girlfriend and I stayed in the Howard Hardy home over the 4th of July. The suite was clean, nicely equipped, and in a fantastic location. A smaller issue: the listing promised cooking essentials, but there were only plates and a microwave, with few utensils and no stove or proper pots and pans. It also said we’d have a parking pass, but none was left.

A few women from our classical school stayed here for a national conference and really enjoyed it. The only snag was the usual downtown city parking hassle.
