The room was spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable, and the pool and hot tub were nice. But there was a birthday party at the pool that I didn’t know about. Kids were running around and being wild, with no adults watching them. The hot tub was full, and I saw two different elderly couples come in and turn right back around because there wasn’t room. Back in my room, I could hear kids running through the halls for three hours, with adults yelling two doors down as if they were in my room. Someone kept running around knocking on doors. I looked through the peephole and saw the front desk attendant coming out of the room across the hall. It was a big mess. I love Drury, but I won’t return to this one.

At checkout, the woman at the front desk was helpful and apologetic when we raised our concerns. She took our information for the general manager, Josh, but he wasn’t helpful. He talked over us, questioned and dismissed what we’d experienced, and gave a lot of unnecessary explanations without offering a solution. He offered a refund, but we’d booked through a third party and had already explained that it wasn’t an option. They pushed hard for our home address in exchange for a free night. After the stay and the safety issues, why would I feel comfortable giving them my address or want to come back? It’s 2026. If they really want to make it right, they could email a voucher. Drury is off our list. We’d seen lots of positive reviews and were genuinely excited, but the hotel let us down repeatedly. It seemed way overbooked. I can only assume jobs were giving workers room vouchers and they were bringing their whole families. If that wasn’t the case, the hotel needs to manage occupancy and capacity better. Kids were loud and running around with little parental supervision, and staff didn’t intervene. It seemed normal there. The room wasn’t very clean either. I spilled water on the nightstand and wiped it with a hotel towel, which came away with horrific stains. There was hair everywhere. On the first night, the TV shut off because of electrical problems. The front desk said, “this happens,” and that everything was online. The next day we came back from an early dinner to find the lot full, mostly with work trucks and trailers taking up three to six spaces each. The remaining open spots had people double parked, just asking for an insurance claim. Both small pools and the hot tub were always too crowded to use. We went back and forth to the pantry, which had a surveillance camera. On our last night there was nobody at the front desk to take payment, a safety concern. When we came back later, they watched us like we were going to steal something. That felt like racial profiling.

Jazz greeted me after a long drive and was really friendly and helpful. The room’s a bit older, but you can tell Dury cares, and it was clean enough. The staff were very friendly. I’d definitely recommend it!

Breakfast was amazing, the best hotel breakfast I’ve had. It had a huge range of options, so I ate there both mornings. The room I eventually got was comfortable, and I had no problems with it. The TV felt old, though, and there was no complimentary water in the fridge. I arrived fairly late after my original hotel reservation turned out to be below par. Check-in took a while because of room issues. On my last night, I found a hole that had opened in the ceiling, with water dripping and visible moisture around it. They moved me immediately to a much nicer room, but I’m taking off a star because I can’t help wondering what maintenance may have been skipped for this to happen. I’d stay here again, and now I’m keeping an eye out for Drury properties across the continental United States.

The people here are the best, and we’ll keep coming back. We stay about every three months when we’re in the area, and everyone is super nice. The rooms are usually very clean, though this time there was a dried drink or something on the wall by the bed that someone missed. I’d guess nobody told the desk it had spilled. The breakfast and kickback appetizers are okay. The area seems nice and safe, and it’s easy to get in and out. The pool and hot tub could use a better daily cleaning, but it’s not too bad.
