Drury Inn & Suites Louisville North

The rooms and pool area were nice, clean, and well cared for, and everyone on staff was friendly. We stayed in room 226 on 11/28/25 with our family of six, and they were happy to bring us extra pillows. There was an incident at the pool, and the guest who caused it gave us some trouble during that period. The assistant manager handled things right away, was extremely kind and helpful, and got the pool reopened in a timely way so our kids could enjoy it again. We’d gladly stay here if we’re in the area again, and highly recommend it.

The hotel is a bit outside downtown, though still close enough to get out and see everything. Parking could fill up in the evening, but it didn’t cause us a problem. We also found that you can’t access TV apps, so you’re limited to whatever is on. Staff were friendly every time we dealt with them, from the front desk to food service and housekeeping. The room was clean, service was good, and the pool and hot tub were clean too. The tub had good jets but struggled to reach 100. The shower was fine, although the pressure was soft. Bed and pillows felt a little too soft for us, but it wasn’t bad. Breakfast and dinner were hot and tasty, and the dining area was kept clean and well supplied. As a coffee drinker who likes flavored creamer, I was disappointed that half and half was the only option. That’s just my personal preference, so it may not matter to others. We felt good about the stay and appreciated how clean the hotel was.

We needed somewhere pet friendly, and our first stay at the Drury inn turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The room was HUGE, and it was way cheaper than the Hilton while being much cleaner. It was a bit pricey, but two meals were included, which was nice. Breakfast had biscuits and gravy, eggs, potatoes, and lots of other choices. At the other meal there were meatballs in gravy, mashed potatoes, salad, vegetables, and more options. The front desk staff were very friendly, and Lulu had cleaned our room so well that it was immaculate. Good job Lulu! My one complaint is that the mattress wasn’t wrapped in a bed bug encasement. I manage a motel, so I tend to judge other places pretty hard 😂. It seems like an inexpensive way to protect both the mattress and the clients, and I wish they’d done that.

We wish there were more of these places where we travel. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, and the whole package was excellent as usual, from the kickback to breakfast. Check-in was pleasant and efficient. The employee knew the perks well, explained them clearly, and answered our questions. We love our Drury Inns.
