NuLu is a fantastic location, right in the middle of the city's liveliest neighborhood, with great coffee shops, restaurants, bakeries, and bars just steps away. The boutique hotel itself was beyond what we expected. We loved the chic, modern decor, and the stylish design made the atmosphere feel unique, positive, and uplifting. The room was comfortable and well equipped, including a fully outfitted kitchen that worked perfectly for us. The bathroom decor was lovely too. We absolutely loved the design and stay, and we'll definitely come back.

Staying in the NuLu district was a big plus. We could walk to great restaurants, coffee shops, and nightlife, and the hotel was a comfortable place to come back to. The decor was stylish and thoughtfully done, with a unique, welcoming, homey feel. We really enjoyed this trendy boutique hotel and its beautiful design. We'll definitely return!

There were so many good places to eat nearby, with coffee shops, bars, and restaurants all within walking distance. We had a great stay at The Duke. The room was cozy, with lovely furniture and decor, and the kitchen was fully equipped, though we hardly used it. We'll be back for the Kentucky Derby.

World of Duke in Louisville had a lively neighborhood all around it, and inside there was a relaxed, welcoming vibe. The place was clean and well maintained, with a fun atmosphere that made it enjoyable to hang out. Staff were super friendly and made everything feel easy from the moment we arrived. I really enjoyed the experience and would definitely come back.

The art was cute, the green palette was neat, and the rooms had a wonderfully kitschy style. It's a great downtown Nulu location, with bars, restaurants, and shops an easy walk away. Walking in, the artwork and unusual decor make the place feel like somewhere you live. But when things go wrong, there's no front desk, just electronic messages to someone somewhere else, and that's where the service problems began and stayed. Parking was supposed to be free but wasn't, and my messages went unanswered. There was no hot water in the room, and those messages also got no reply. Both problems could have been fixed. I wanted to like the hotel, but service is what a hotel sells, and that was missing. I paid for a stay, not art. In reply: I wasn't given any kind of refund, and that's fine, I don't care about the money. I was excited to arrive, but disappointment was the souvenir I took home. What would happen in a real emergency, like a burst pipe or electrical problem? I'm not sure this place is ready for prime time yet.
