Hyatt Regency Louisville

This atrium style hotel works well for groups and meeting up, with a Starbucks, a lobby restaurant, and food options on site. The rooms are modern, clean, and have good amenities. Some interior areas look a little dated, and coming in from the parking garage didn't make a great first impression. Otherwise, another solid Hyatt property.

Kristy at the front desk made a stressful reservation change easy, handling it kindly and professionally. Her genuine care and positive energy really stood out, and the other staff I met were welcoming and professional too. The rooms were spacious, the amenities top-notch, and the conference facilities comfortable and well organized. The Hyatt Regency Louisville is beautiful, modern, and clean, right in downtown Louisville, so restaurants, shops, and event venues are easy to reach on foot. I had an exceptional stay at this conference. I highly recommend the hotel to visitors, and Kristy in particular made it memorable.

The restaurant staff were outstanding, and the food was the real highlight. Get the lamb lollipops, they're perfectly cooked and come with a divine yogurt based sauce. The rooms are spacious and clean, with very comfortable beds, and you're right downtown within easy walking distance of great restaurants and plenty to do. The front desk staff, though, weren't very friendly, downright rude actually. Still, this was easily a five star stay.

Self parking was $12 overnight. The reception team was welcoming and attentive, and my room was clean and spacious. The location is very central, close to everything downtown Louisville has to offer. I'd stay again if I come back to the city.
