The employee who checked me in was great and very helpful, and the room seemed clean at first. But the TV had no signal, and only the light by the entrance worked. The switch for the light over the bed did nothing. At 4:00 am I felt something on the bed and saw I’d been bitten by a roach. There were more in the kitchenette and bathroom, and I killed several, leaving them where housekeeping could see. I left right away. I called to check out and waited 20 minutes for someone to come, then left my key card in front of the window.

The room and bathroom were very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Still, I couldn’t stay after finding roaches. I spotted one on my second night and reported it, then found three more the next day. The room was never treated, so I packed up and left early. I appreciate that the manager refunded me. This place would be great without the roach problem, but I can’t stay somewhere with an infestation.

At 4:00 am I woke to roaches all over the bed. I killed some in the bed, bathroom, and kitchen area and left them there so the staff could see the problem. Check-in had been great, the staff were friendly, the room looked clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I called to check out, but no one came, so I left the card in the window for someone to find. I hope I didn’t bring any roaches home, since that could be expensive to deal with. There was no hair dryer, which was my fault for not checking the booking. I left with wet hair in 33-degree weather.

Sheila always gives a warm, friendly welcome and has a lot of energy. I often see her tidying the place, though I’m not sure what her actual job is. The staff are great, it’s pet friendly, and I highly recommend it. You’re lucky to have her.
