Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Loveland

We booked two nights, but when we returned around noon on day two, our keys no longer worked. No one was around, and calling or ringing the bell got us nowhere. I found the laundry area too, but still couldn’t locate anyone. After about 30 minutes, the front desk woman turned up upstairs in the rooms. She said she was the only one working, and very rudely acted bothered about letting us into the room we’d rented. The customer service was awful.

Marie was a huge help when we checked in. I’d accidentally booked the wrong property online, and she helped me rebook and get us settled. I’m really grateful for her help, and she was amazing. We enjoyed our stay, and the staff are always exceptional. It’s always a nice place to stay.

We won’t stay here again. I’d paid for both rooms through Agoda, but the hotel charged me again when we arrived, even after I told them I’d paid online. They could see the rooms were already paid for. I have the receipts and sent everything to Agoda, but I haven’t heard back from either the hotel or Agoda. I’ve used the Agoda app before without any problems, so being charged twice was frustrating.

The place looks clean and new, but our two stays were awful. On the first visit, they gave our reservation away and left us stranded, which ruined my daughter’s volleyball tournament. On the second, we had pre-checked in, but found other people in our room. The front desk person said there were no rooms available and he didn’t know what to do. His Uber was waiting outside, so he had to leave. Another employee tried to help and put us in a room by the lobby. The volleyball team was spread around the hotel with no chaperones beyond their coaches, who weren’t watching them. Kids ran through the halls, slammed doors, and kept it up from as late as 1 a.m. to as early as 6 a.m. Nobody stopped them, and we got no sleep. I’ve never had a worse hotel experience. After the first visit, I tried to call the manager and was told he’d call me back, but he never did. I later found out he’d walked out, and they currently don’t have a manager. I’m sure my problems will never get resolved.
