The room was overpriced, and the employees weren't friendly or professional. Satellite TV kept cutting out while I was trying to watch a movie, and the ice machines were out of order. There was no extra toilet paper in the room, the pool water was very cloudy, and the second floor was a mess from construction. I won't book here again.

We paid Junette $518 in full for a meeting room, but arrived an hour before the meeting to find it locked. Staff couldn't find our reservation at first, though they located it later. My husband, two staff members, and I spent an hour setting up tables and chairs. We ran out of linens, and the ones we had were wrinkled rectangle cloths for round tables. For three tables we had to use the dirty side of the linens. We cleaned the counters, tables, and kitchen ourselves. A man vacuumed the carpet but not the restrooms. When I asked him to vacuum the foyer before leaving, he said leaves would blow back in when the door opened. My husband saw him sweeping instead, and when he finished he said, "and that's all you get". The same man brought the AV equipment and handed it to my husband to set up. We left the room cleaner than we found it. I contacted Ashmore that afternoon, but Junette wasn't working. The next day Samantha told me Junette now worked at Hampton Inn. Samantha said the room had last been used the week before and hadn't been cleaned since. I asked for half my money back. She said she'd contact the owner, Tyreek Fooriq, and call me. When I called back today, she said he couldn't refund me but would let us use the room free at our next meeting. What a deal. Should I also come wash all the linens and clean the room, tables, and restrooms for free? The attached photos were taken after we removed linens with dried cake frosting on them. We were rushing to clean up. Maybe the city should inspect hotels for health issues.

I never usually write reviews, but I wish someone had warned me about Ashmore Inn and Suites. The room felt neglected. The pillows were dirty, smelled used, and had hair on them. The hallways looked like a haunted maze, with drywall tape peeling away as if the walls were falling apart. We'd booked two nights but left after one, and they wouldn't refund the unused night. I booked online but paid at the property. They said they couldn't help because I used a third party, though I know a property can issue a refund when you pay there. If I'd paid online, the third party would have to refund me, not the front desk. This didn't feel family friendly. The shower curtains had mold, the beds were dirty and stained with tears in them, and the towels were stained and smelled kind of sweaty. The place smelled like sewer or dirty mop water when we arrived. It's not worth the money or risking getting sick from poor hygiene. The website pictures must be old because they look much nicer than the property. If you decide to stay, book one night only if you're unsure. The site says they refund, but they wouldn't refund me. Good luck.

The staff were nice and suggested places to eat when I asked. They also moved us from the second floor to the first because there was no elevator and we had a lot of luggage. The property itself is rundown, and things got worse once we got to the room. The first floor room was filthy, with an unvacuumed floor and a fridge so dirty it had beer in it. There was no hand soap, and they hadn't provided a complimentary toothbrush. We checked the second floor room too, but it wasn't any better and its fridge was filthy as well. The bathroom towel rack was missing, the wallpaper was peeling, and the outside vents looked cracked or broken. One of the public bathroom stalls hadn't been flushed, and I had to tell the staff. I'd booked another stay here, but cancelled it. I'm not coming back.

I've stayed here for years and hoped I could give it four stars. To get that kind of stay, bring Lysol for the mildew on the shower curtain and earplugs to cover the loud AC when it cycles. Flip flops might help keep your feet from turning black on the carpet, too. Spray yourself with DEET before bed. Those tips should get the experience up to four stars.
