Quality Inn & Suites Lubbock South

After checking into room 111 on 9/29/25, I brought in my suitcase and went out to get food. When I came back, I checked the bed for bed bug stains. I'd already noticed that the phone had no cord from the handset to the base and no cord from the base to the wall. The lamp was broken with exposed wires, and I reported those things to the front desk right away. I found bed bug stains on a corner of the box spring, took my belongings, showed the desk photos, and asked for a refund. They said the manager would handle it the next day. Weeks passed without a response, so I called corporate. The hotel then said it was waiting for IT to confirm that I hadn't stayed overnight. I was in the room for less than 40 minutes total, and from check-in to checkout it was under two hours. I've followed up for six weeks and still have no progress on the refund. I gave the hotel my case number, but haven't been able to get my money back.

The beds were comfortable and the staff were lovely, but the breakfast was just okay. The carpet needs a good shampoo, and the headboard could use bleach. There was hair from the previous guests in the bathrooms. The windows by the pool looked dirty and sort of creepy, and the stair access door slammed all night. That needs fixing.

We'd been driving all day and got into town around 6 a.m., but other hotels wouldn't let us check in until 3. The gentleman at the front desk made an early check-in work for us. The hotel was clean and the service was great. Highly recommend.

After a bad situation at another hotel, the staff here helped us out. They were friendly, the room was clean and neat, and breakfast was great. We had a very good stay and would come back.
