Quality Inn Lumberton North

The front desk service was great, and the room was clean with the usual motel amenities. It was large but sparsely furnished, with modern AC and heating equipment and new bathroom fixtures. Parking was plentiful and the area felt safe. The free breakfast wasn't much to write home about. For the price, it was excellent value, especially with a discount hotel or motel coupon from the NC Welcome Center when entering the state. It's very close to an Interstate 95 exit, and I'd stay again.

The shower was the one letdown: the water wasn't very hot, and the tub drained too slowly. I was in room 214. Otherwise, the room was clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the service was good. I'd stay here again.

I slept really well during my one-night stop and had no problems. The hotel was quiet and comfortable, with plenty of spacious rooms. It's right by Route 95, which made travel easy, and close to the stores and food options I'd need. Thanks for the room. I'll stay again if I'm passing this way 😊

The night staff were kind and moved us into a clean suite after I showed them how bad our first room was. The bed hadn't been changed: there were red specks on a pillow and brown marks on the sheets. There was a half-drunk bottle of water on the dresser, used soap on the sink, hair in the tub, and black grime around the toilet. I took pictures. We expected to move again once another room was cleaned, but the morning staff woke me early and gave me 30 minutes to leave the suite so it would be ready for the next guest. Check-in wasn't until 3 p.m., and I'd already paid for all three nights. We stay here regularly when visiting his family, and I had to wait because my own room wasn't clean. Please check the beds before getting in. Blood on a pillowcase is scary. A follow-up to the owner's response: I tried to correct the location after I realized it showed Lumberton instead of Whiteville. The owner replied with lies. It would still have been just my husband and me if we'd stayed there, and the pictures were taken minutes after entering the room, not after two nights. It seems like they try to discredit guests with complaints and make them out to be the villains or at fault.
