East Side Suites

My family and I moved to Lynchburg at the beginning of this year and have been staying here since May 2023. We’ve really enjoyed it. The staff are amazing, friendly, and help however they can. The rooms are like little apartments, with a kitchen, two TVs, free Wi-Fi, and Xfinity cable. Room service is great, and the place is quiet, family-oriented, and very pet friendly. It’s in a peaceful country setting just outside town, a nice place to rest and have peace of mind. For longer stays, you only pay the pet deposit once, not every week like at other hotels I’ve stayed in. You can buy farm-fresh eggs at the office, and there’s plenty of open field to walk and play with your dogs. Anyone can use the propane grill by the pavilion. There’s on-site laundry, and you can buy laundry and dish detergent from the office.

For such a reasonable price, the quality was unbelievable. The rooms were extremely clean and nicely updated, with a full-size fridge and freezer, microwave, and stove. The bedroom was separate from the living room, which had a comfortable couch. Both rooms had good-size high-def TVs with plenty of stations. I was honestly a little disappointed I wasn’t staying longer.

We stayed two nights for a softball tournament at Liberty, and the short drive to the fields was a bonus. The rooms were exceptionally clean and everything looked modern. Our AC had a problem; after apologizing several times for the inconvenience, they moved us two rooms over to one with much better AC. The owner and his wife suggested a local seafood restaurant, Harbor Inn, and it was exactly as he described, lots of food for little money. This hotel is a hidden gem, and the nightly price gets you more than you pay for. Bring food to cook and use the oven; they even provide the utensils. Brad

I was here for six months of work, and my husband and I had a wonderful stay. The rooms were nice, clean, and updated. You couldn’t meet nicer people, and we’ll definitely stay again.
