The room was clean, in a good location, and had a well-equipped kitchen. I was fine with no room service or bed changes given the good price, and I prefer to look after things myself. But when I asked at the office for kitchen utensils, they said they had none available. The walls and floors also had very poor soundproofing, so noise from the room above was annoying. At checkout they added a $10.57 linen charge. I hadn’t asked for extra linens and had used only what was in the room when I arrived, but the clerk said those were chargeable. I’ve never paid that at this location, any Extended Stay, or any other hotel. It wasn’t a lot, but it’s the principle, especially since the charge wasn’t disclosed when I booked and paid in advance.

After a few work nights here, I feel I should warn people. The room was dirty, though I hadn’t expected much for the price. I saw someone nodding off on the lobby couch during check-in, someone asked if I wanted to buy drugs while I carried my luggage in, and several people who looked like prostitutes were constantly coming and going. A few looked underage, so I wouldn’t be surprised if trafficking was happening. I could hear their activities from my room, which was unpleasant. Police were there constantly dealing with loud, belligerent people. I complained to the manager, who I think was named Cameron. She said it happens all the time and she’s used to it, which shocked me. It seemed like guests could do whatever as long as they didn’t cause a fuss. This is not a good place to stay, and don’t bring your children.

The constant smells of weed, cigarettes, or rotting trash on every floor were awful. There’s no breakfast or ice machine, and it’s a two-star hotel for a reason. I’ve had a terrible stay and would avoid this place completely. The rooms barely get cleaned, and the floors definitely aren’t mopped. There are bed bugs and cockroaches. Cameren banks won’t speak during check-in or much at all during a stay, and staff gossip about guests with other guests and among themselves. Most of the staff were rude. Jasmine was helpful with my questions, and Tawanda and Bianka helped whenever I needed toilet paper or anything else.

We stayed one night, then left and booked another hotel nearby. The front desk staff were rude and unhelpful, and the rooms were dirty. Our appliances didn’t work, and when we raised the problem we got attitude instead of help. The place smelled of weed and cigarettes. Gross, and terribly run.
