I’d have liked to stay here, but the owner never returned my calls or tried to sort out an Expedia booking error. They wouldn’t allow a refund, and the owner couldn’t even call back to discuss moving the booking to another day. It felt like they’d rather take a customer’s money than try to resolve the problem.

We came all the way from Texas for a wedding, and it was beautiful. One tip for the ladies: bring sneakers or other comfortable shoes for the walk back to your lodge, lol. I’d like to visit again soon. Thank you. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

We rented the cabins for our wedding party for the weekend and loved the whole stay. The place was super affordable, and the staff were so accommodating. Stone Mountain made a beautiful setting for a rustic, mountainous wedding. Ashley and her staff were perfect, and as the bride, I could relax knowing they had my back and were ready for anything. I even got some sleep before the wedding day. We got married there on 5-25-25. Thank you, Ashley & team, for such lovely memories!

Having most of our guests stay on-site made the weekend feel like a retreat, and there was plenty of room in the cabins for family and friends to be together for two nights. They were SO clean and SOOO cute, and our guests kept talking about how charming and cozy they were. The outdoor ceremony space is stunning, and this is one of the most beautiful, affordable venues in Northern Colorado. We’d seen concerns about road noise in other reviews, but we barely noticed it. In the venue area, nature surrounds you and it feels peaceful and private. Ashley was wonderful to work with: kind, organized, and calm even when things didn’t go as planned. We had a rain delay, and she handled it so smoothly that we didn’t have time to stress. This place deserves more recommendations. For an outdoor Colorado wedding with lovely scenery, affordability, and great staff, we can’t recommend it enough.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the motel is quiet at night. Sitting at the picnic tables with coffee and looking at the scenery was really nice; after dark, you can hear crickets and watch the stars. The rooms are a bit older but clean and cute, and the scenery is great. Watch carefully for the turn, since it’s easy to miss the entrance during the day and especially at night. Coming from Estes Park after dark, once Colorado Cherry Company Bakery is on your left, you’ve got five miles to go. I attached some photos of landmarks that may help you find the motel at night.
