WeeCasa Tiny House Resort

The team made the whole process feel easy, even with plenty of changes from our side. We reserved the tiny homes and Wee Gather almost two years ahead of our September wedding at River Bend, a five-star venue too. Tim became our manager closer to the date and was incredible. He helped with staffing and event coordination, got ice for the rehearsal dinner, arranged a continental breakfast for Sunday, and had welcome bags handed out to guests. Everyone was friendly and communicative throughout. The homes gave us and our guests distinctive, convenient lodging, while Wee Gather worked well for the rehearsal, getting ready, and our fairly tame after parties. Having it all together was one of the best parts of the weekend and made everything run more smoothly. Wee Casa offers lots of services for event buyouts. Any couple marrying at River Bend should add it to their plans.

We only had time to explore neighboring Longmont, and it turned out to be surprisingly awesome. In Lyons, we stayed just Saturday night in The American Aspen (#12), but I already can’t wait to come back. I’ve put stays in all twenty different tiny homes on my bucket list, at least one night in each. The grounds were clean and well cared for, I loved the home, and the service was great for the little we needed. Looking forward to another Wee Casa stay!

Tim was exactly the kind of host you’d hope for. We felt welcome, and the hospitality was great. The grounds are beautiful, the tiny houses are well kept, and the place would work really well for a wedding group, family reunion, or corporate event. We stayed in #19. The fixtures in the bathroom were good quality, though the space was barely adequate. The loft stairs felt far too narrow, with treads spaced too far apart and no handhold along the wall. At 75, I’m less nimble than I used to be, and those stairs seem like an inevitable lawsuit waiting to happen. Otherwise the stay was generally fine, but the tiny house experience confirmed that I wouldn’t want to live in one if I could help it. That’s more about me than the house.

The property was beautiful and a lot of fun. We rented every tiny home for our wedding weekend, and the homes were just right. The staff were great, and the amenities had everything we needed. Highly recommend!
