Americas Best Inn Macon

The building is quiet and uses key access to come and go, but it needs security. There's a guy on the first floor selling weed with his door left open, and strange people hang around in the hallway. People walk around looking for cigarettes. It's too cold for disabled people to have to go outside to smoke. There are small children living in the building, and they fired some good people who didn't deserve it. Nobody works in the office after hours, when they should.

My husband and I stayed at woodsprings from August 5 2025 till February 18 this year. I enjoyed it there. The room was nice, it was quiet and well secured, and the staff were nice. You need a key card to get into the building. There's laundry on site, maintenance stays on top of things, and housekeeping does its job. The only thing I didn't like was having to go outside to smoke when it was cold. And that fire alarm is loud and scares you when you're not expecting it. Sometimes you have to say goodbye, but I'd definitely recommend woodsprings. Loved it there.

The room wasn't clean when we checked in, and the first room they assigned already had someone in it. The front desk was very disorganized, and employees didn't communicate properly. Management was unprofessional and seemed to play favorites. They came up with different prices to charge every time we paid. Dealing with the women in charge and their poor attitudes wasn't worth the hassle.

This building needs security. When you go out to smoke, you can find someone sitting on the hallway steps or standing by the door, and that doesn't feel safe with kids staying here. There's drug activity in the building. If they're watching the cameras, they'll see it for themselves.
