The breakfast room team and housekeeping were genuinely friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and pleasant. We liked the grab-and-go breakfast, and the hotel was decent for the price. At the front desk, though, staff often sat on their phones and made us wait before speaking with us. They weren’t rude, but they weren’t attentive or friendly either. One woman told us to find housekeeping on the floors ourselves if we wanted more towels. We shouldn’t have to track staff down for them.

It was a clean hotel in a good location, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very small, though, with no coffee maker or microwave and no closet space for hanging clothes. Breakfast was just adequate.

At 7:30, there was no breakfast left, even though it’s supposed to run from 6:30 to 9:30. The only things remaining were some moldy muffins, and staff basically said too bad. They seemed more interested in their phones than helping. Breakfast is one reason people pick a hotel, and it was all gone. This was a joke. We deserve some kind of refund. The hotel was okay otherwise, and staff weren’t very friendly.

For a simple, affordable stay in North Macon, this newer avid hotel is clean and no-frills. I appreciated that, though the rooms feel tight, especially for more than a night or two. The desk chair already showed wear, even though the property is fairly new. It’s a budget brand under IHG, and the furniture seems like it may age quickly. It works if you don’t need much space or extra amenities.
