Comfort Suites Madison West - Middleton

The pool area and rooms were very clean, and the king bed was comfy. Breakfast was decent, with good fresh fruit. McKenzie and William at the front desk were wonderful to us and felt sincere. We'll stay again.

The rooms are spacious and the pool is the best part. It's not a bad hotel, but the two men at the front desk during check-in weren't very professional. They could use some new towels too. My husband pointed out that the American flag outside was in outright shape, but the two staff members didn't seem interested. Please replace the flag regularly.

I was nervous after reading some online reviews, since I was traveling alone as an older person and hadn't stayed in a hotel for years. I needn't have worried. I was in Madison for my 50 years High School Class Reunion, then spent an extra day visiting and resting before driving home. Four nights came to under $390, and I was absolutely delighted. The whole facility was clean, with no unpleasant odors, which matters a lot to me as a retired Nurse. Staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was fabulous, with plenty of time to enjoy it. The linens and pillows were freshly clean and excellent quality, and the bed was so comfy. The large pool area was clean too. Even with several families and exuberant young kids staying there, nights and early mornings were peacefully quiet. On my last evening I enjoyed a $1 glass of Muscato from the front desk "Happy Hour." Having a mini-Fridge and Microwave in the room saved me the cost of a couple of meals out, and the time spent going out to find something. Comfort & Joy... I highly recommend this place.

The rooms were okay, but the place seems to be getting a little run down. I'm really disappointed that they arranged the shuttle and then canceled it. That was frustrating. I realize they're doing the best they can with the labor shortage we're all dealing with.
