Sleep Inn Madison

The staff were very kind and helpful, and the rooms were comfortable, especially the beds. Prices were competitive, and the complimentary breakfast was fine and generous. I struggled with the TV remote enough to ask the front desk for help, but the in-room coffee maker was worse. It felt flimsy and was the most frustrating one I've ever tried to use.

I had a heavenly room and found the place fantastic for a rest. Everyone on staff was so helpful, and breakfast was awesome too. I'd definitely stay again. For me, it's a 10-plus.

The front desk workers gave great service, and I don't have any other complaints. My room did have a moldy smell, though. It's an older building and could use a lot of improvement.

I was due to stay two nights starting 05/28/26, but left the morning of 05/29 after finding several roaches in the room, including one on the sheets the previous night. I ended up spending part of the night in my vehicle in the parking lot. The morning desk clerk, a red-haired woman, seemed unconcerned when I reported it and never apologized. She was more focused on checking gift card balances on her phone. She refunded the night of the 29th but not the 28th, when I'd stayed. She said she wasn't authorized to issue that refund, would raise it with the manager that day, and that the manager would contact me. More than 24 hours later there'd been no contact. I sent this to the manager at Sleep Inn Madison as the rude ginger who checked me out had suggested, but the manager hasn't replied. If this is how the business is run, I won't return.
