Imperial Inn

The staff were fairly friendly, but that couldn't make up for how awful the room was. There were roaches, the bathroom was dirty, and something was going on with bugs in the sheets. I can't say for sure they were bed bugs, but we were covered in bites after staying there, and my kid is still having a terrible time because of it. I really hope none of the bugs came home with us. Now I understand why you can't get a refund after ten minutes. Absolutely appalling.

I booked a room for two employees while our company was working at lake oconee. The first room had German roaches, and although they moved us, the next room was dirty and smelled awful too. It was so late that we couldn't reasonably go somewhere else. I felt bad that my employees had to spend the night in such a nasty place, so I gave them a huge tip.

The young man at the front desk was very friendly, but the room itself was in rough shape. The towels were stained, threadbare, and tiny, and I refused to shower because it didn't look clean. The sheets were stained and had cigarette burns, and the worn pillows looked only about an inch thick. None of the lights were plugged in, either. The place could really use a broom, mop, and dust rag, and we were way overcharged.

The smell was awful, and there was feces on the wall. Dead and live roaches were both inside and outside the room. A plant by the room was growing nearly into it, and a broken lawnmower sat in the front lot. The carpet looked like it had been there since the 1970s. There was a microwave and refrigerator, but we were too scared to open them, and I wouldn't go near the bathroom. I need a penicillin shot just for walking into that roach motel. Run away like we did. No refunds, and no pets, though Budget Inn seemed to have its own little pets. We had no time to take pictures. RUN FORREST RUN!!!
