Fairfield Inn & Suites Huntsville Madison

The hotel was clean enough, but the way staff handled a late night party left us feeling like they didn’t care about their guests. We’d been put on the main floor, below the lobby, and on our second night a crowd was talking loudly around midnight. My husband went to the desk and learned an engagement party was happening in the meeting room next to us. They shut the room door, but whenever it opened we heard people yell “AYYYYY.” Around 1:30 I went to the desk myself. The woman said she’d take care of it, then came to our room ten minutes later and said they couldn’t reasonably be expected to police the party’s noise. She offered us another room instead. At 2 am we had to pack everything and move upstairs. She also told us the party room had been booked until 3 am, so we felt the hotel knew about the event when it put us in that room. The staff were very friendly when we first arrived, and the room itself was decent, although there was a big gap between the door and frame.

The modern hotel was in good shape, and our room was very clean. The team was courteous and attentive, which helped make the stay smooth and relaxing. We enjoyed our time at Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Huntsville Madison. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The walls between rooms seemed paper thin. I could clearly hear the people next door having an ordinary conversation while I was trying to sleep. Maybe it was a builder flaw, since I thought most hotels had concrete between walls. If quiet sleep matters to you, ask for a room away from other guests. Otherwise the place was fantastic, new, and clean, and the woman at the counter was very sweet. I wish I could give five stars, but I expect peace and quiet when I’m trying to sleep. Thanks for the stay, though!

I’ve been to 49 states and am a hospitality veteran, and this was sensational. Every person and everything exceeded my expectations!
