Home2 Suites by Hilton Madison Huntsville Airport

I’ve been here almost two weeks for training, and CC and Liz have made sure I was well accommodated. The hospitality has been above the rest, and they’re entertaining too. They make friends with most guests, which is why I’ll book here again on my next trip to the Huntsville area. CC stays professional with all kinds of guests, including people who are disrespectful and seem to be looking for a comped room. I couldn’t handle some of the abuse she gets. She takes that hate and responds with the most professional hospitality. Liz is a great person too. She came to my room to fix my card reader after she’d already clocked out.

Convenient location and a comfortable bed, but the shower was gross, as the picture shows. The breakfast was awful, a make-your-own breakfast sandwich with terrible tasting ingredients. The AC and heater were really loud. I’m not a fan of this Hilton brand anymore.

The first room had a broken AC. When I told the front desk, they moved me next door to a room where it worked. I also loved the bathroom pocket door because it doesn’t take up space when open. I wish other Hiltons used those.

I travel for work and take photos when I check in for liability reasons. These were the things I noticed right away: my room smelled bad, the shower floor looked dirty, and the chair was stained. The toilet seat was nearly falling off, the couch lamp was broken at the base and toppled over a few times, and a wheel on the rolling table was broken. The window shade adjuster’s retainer had been torn from the wall, and the thermostat didn’t do anything. The sink drain was taken apart and just left there. Hardware sticking out of the bathroom door lock cut my arm, and the top hinge of the entry door was pulled out, so I had to fight with the door to get it to close properly. The place itself is nice, but maintenance and housekeeping need attention. Nobody serviced my room during the four days I was there.
