Peggy made us feel right at home as soon as we arrived, and even invited our kids to join us for breakfast. Her warmth made our Thanksgiving stay especially memorable. The Livingston was just a few doors from our daughter's and son-in-law's apartment in Madison WI, which was a wonderful convenience. The place was welcoming, beautiful, warm, and comfortable, with fireplaces lit. Our bed and pillows were comfy, there were plenty of towels and hot water, and breakfast was wonderful. We could smell coffee brewing in our room in the morning. Fresh water, tea, and a nice snack were always available. We can't say enough about the location and accommodations. It felt like a home away from home. Many thanks to delightful Peggy!

Peggy was a lovely host, and for my first B&B experience, I had a great time. The rooms were quiet and breakfast was very good. I'd gladly return and recommend the place to anyone visiting Madison.

I loved sitting with Peggy over breakfast in the morning and hearing about the history of the house. It was my first bed and breakfast, and the hospitality was wonderful. Peggy is such an amazing person. I had a great time and would recommend it again and again. I'll definitely be back!

The breakfasts and easy conversations with Peggy and the other guests really made our stay. Peggy is such a welcoming host, and the house has a magical, almost time-capsule feel. We enjoyed it so much. Highly recommend.

We stayed in the Lake Mendota room and had a lovely view. The place felt like a movie set, and it’s in a convenient spot for walking around Madison. Our host was so nice and made a delicious breakfast. I’d recommend staying here.
