Valued Stay Aloha

For a night or two, Valued Stay Aloha is a modest but decent option if you keep your expectations realistic. My room was clean and had a microwave and mini fridge, which I’ve missed at much pricier hotels. The pool was closed, apparently while renovations were wrapping up, but I wasn’t planning to swim. I liked the clearly marked envelope for a housekeeping tip too. The free breakfast was very sparse. A sign in the breakfast area said something like, “Be our guest, but don’t expect much.” I found it funny, but also a bit unprofessional. The check-in sign on the locked front door initially confused me because it said to call a number. I later learned that only applies after hours. Once I got inside, the staff I met were friendly and helpful. I’d read mixed reviews before booking and brought my own towel and toiletries just in case. Most weren’t needed: the bathroom had clean towels, soap, body wash, and shampoo, though no conditioner. Overall, I had a pleasant experience at this quaint little hotel.

The room was super clean, and that king bed was incredibly comfortable, with about five or six pillows. It also had a mini fridge, microwave, and smart TV with Netflix and other options. The bathroom was clean and had fresh linens, plus a full-length mirror. I was just passing through Wisconsin and came across this cute, quaint place. The bad reviews nearly put me off, but I’m glad I gave it a try. The woman at the front desk was really nice and helpful. A 10/10 stay, and you can see they’re making an effort.

I felt very safe here as an older woman traveling alone, and I’d definitely recommend this motel. The room was very clean and didn’t feel cramped, with a comfortable king bed and five soft pillows. The heater and AC seemed quite new, and the room stayed comfortable. The towels were fluffy, and the shower pressure was the best I’ve ever had.

It was clean, but the bare-bones room isn’t worth $150 a night on weekends. The place seems to have had a cheap renovation, just fresh paint and budget vinyl flooring. Breakfast was muffins, a banana, and yogurt, skimpy is putting it kindly. There wasn’t any soap or shower gel, and no blankets either.
