Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Madison East

Aside from the bar, the stay was awesome and the rest of the staff were amazing, especially the shuttle driver. After the M.O.D. show, we got back to the hotel and the bartender told us we had 20 minutes before closing, even though it was only 10 pm on Saturday. The bar manager was doing inventory and kept the bartender away from our side of the bar for most of those 20 minutes. When we left just before 11, dirty glasses were still on the bar the next morning, and the bartender had been unfriendly to all the customers.

Jo, the breakfast lady, and Carlos in housekeeping made my stay extra special. The room was clean, the staff were truly lovely, and breakfast and amenities were great. I’ll be back, thank you!

My partner and I were there for the Midwest horse fair. Breakfast was nice and the morning staff were amazingly polite, but the night worker was disrespectful to me. When I asked for an extra towel, she gave me attitude. My Partner asked afterward and got help right away, but the way she was treated made her uncomfortable. When I tried to talk to the staff about it, they gave me nothing but attitude. I’ve never had a problem before, but if this is how the night worker treats people, I’ll take my business elsewhere and tell my connections to stay somewhere else for next year’s horse fair.

Great value and breakfast, and we’d definitely come back. The hotel is beautiful, with a lovely veranda off the breakfast area, a nice gym, an indoor pool, and a jacuzzi. We had a fabulous time here last night.
