At $140 a night, I expected better. The bathroom toilet had patchy silicone around it, there was water damage on the ceiling, the tub faucet wasn’t attached to the wall, and the closet door was smashed. The AC ticked annoyingly all night, and the elevator rocked. Outside, the hotel sign was on the ground and looked like it had been there for years. It felt like the owner was taking the profits without putting money back into the building. We left the next day and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

I wasn’t expecting much since I picked the hotel for its convenient location, but my room was so nice and really clean. It looks like they may have remodeled recently. I’d definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

The accessible shower in my room was a proper roll-in shower, with an excellent chair. The fitness center was nice and cold, and had free weights, a stationary bike, a recumbent bike, a treadmill, and an elliptical. Breakfast was hot and tasty. Gluten-free options were limited to cereal, though they did have almond milk. It’s a clean, safe hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. Gina helped me out several times.

The rooms were clean and smelled good. Right on the Flordia trail, so it’s an easy spot to get out of the cold. Miss Gina made check-in fun and gave me the location in the hotel I wanted.

The online price is listed at 105 dollars, but asking for a room in person adds 25 dollars. That’s the only thing to know for next time. Otherwise, it was clean and comfortable, the AC worked great, the laundry was on site, and breakfast was good. The lady staff members were pretty helpful, too. The business center needs chairs. I love cats. Please feed the cats outside, they make the hotel unique. I gave them tuna and cleaned my cans up afterward so I wouldn’t leave trash in the garden. The beautiful black and calico kittens are lovely. Maybe they could be spayed at some point. I’d be happy to help; there may be a local shelter, though I’m not sure. I’m heading to Bradenton humane society, and I know they’ll do it if you call ahead. Live animals were here on earth before us.
