Quality Inn Magee

We only stayed because it was close to midnight and we'd been traveling all day. The first room smelled bad, with holes in the sheets and big stains on the cover, mattress pad, and mattress. The hallways smelled of cigarette smoke and weed. When we asked for a refund, they offered another room instead. It smelled a little better, but the cover and comforter were stained all over, and there was mold in the bathroom and a dead bug on the floor. This is the worst hotel I've ever been to. I doubt I'll stay at another Choice hotel, and definitely not this one.

The GM was rude and wouldn't honor our online deal, so we were charged twice for one room. They didn't even want to give us a receipt for a refund. The bathroom ceiling leaked, the sink was breaking in half, and the toilet felt unstable when sitting on it. The smell was horrible too. We were here on business and won't use this place again.

The staff were personable and courteous, and the location is right in the middle of everything. Prices are competitive. Z Measured In Smiles A smile can cross a quiet, crowded street, And spark some thought-worn stranger into cheer; A moment's joy can make a careful heart skip a beat, Whether that other soul is known or near. A helping hand can raise a lowered head, A shared laugh can follow tears that once were sown; For a little while, grief and brightness meet, And warmth is felt in that brief space we've known. Still, not each hand reaches one in return, And not each kindness lands where it was sought; But ripples travel on, and hearts stay open, Learning what the gift of giving brought. The human race is wide, yet care is everywhere, Measured not in miles, but in the smiles we share. ©️ 2025 Fred Ronald King Jr

My car broke down on the way home, so booking here was a last-minute call. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly. Clean room, clean bathroom. Just what I needed after a really long day!
