Sony was the highlight of breakfast. He was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, and his smile and positive energy made the morning feel special. He really made sure guests were looked after. I had a wonderful stay at Sheraton Orlando North Hotel. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well maintained, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. From the lobby onward, the place felt clean, polished, and welcoming, with a nice balance of professional and cozy. I’d definitely come back. If you’re in Orlando and want comfort, cleanliness, and great hospitality, look for Sony at breakfast.

We wanted to have the whole wedding day in one place, and Sheraton delivered more than we hoped. The ballroom worked perfectly for both the ceremony and reception, and the hotel accommodated our request to divide the space. The food was excellent, and we’re still getting great feedback from guests. I’ll be back to see if the chef can make that steak and risotto again. The staff made us feel welcome and were excited about our event. AJ from sales was knowledgeable and hospitable from our first conversation, and showed us what the hotel could offer. Andrea in operations was thoughtful and hardworking through the planning, preparation, and day of coordination. She and our wedding coordinator handled everything so my wife and I could enjoy the day. We spoke with people in several roles, including room blocks and food and beverage, and sometimes one person covered multiple jobs, but they got everything done. It’s an older hotel with a few signs of age, though it’s generally well maintained. The suites were beautiful and worked well as getting ready rooms, and the room AC could get very cold. The wedding suite felt updated, with couches that had USB charging ports. The older architecture and design also made for unique photos. Winter Park was close by for rehearsal dinners, brunches, and other events. We walked to the Genesis sports complex, which I knew as RVD, and it was a cool free benefit. The after party at the Irish pub kept the evening seamless, with no need to drive, and it was a really fun bar. Thanks again to everyone.

The staff were very nice, but we left a day early because the hotel was disappointing. It needs serious updates and a better cleaning crew. Parking cost $20 for the night, then another $20 the morning we checked out. We arrived at 8pm and left at 11am, so that was $40 just to park. We were there for a builders convention. The $22 breakfast was no better than the complimentary breakfast at a standard hotel, and paying extra for club level access was a complete waste. Definitely not worth the upgrade. I’d skip this place.

I was in room #490 from January 22nd until January 25th for a soccer tournament where our group had 50 rooms. In the bathroom I found active BLACK MOLD in several spots, and ants traveling in two directions along the base of the bathroom door. There were also winged bugs and mold by the room entrance. Two other families in our group had to change rooms over moisture or water problems too. I reported what I found in the morning and asked to speak with a manager three separate times. Between games 40 minutes away, I had to return for a new room and missed a team lunch. Room #450 looked much cleaner, but the sink and tub wouldn’t drain properly, so I put up with it. They offered half off the first night, but still made me pay for a room with what looked like deadly mold and two insect infestations. It seems virtually impossible to clean room #490 without noticing the mold and bugs. My key also wouldn’t open the parking lot gate, and parking costs $20 a day. Everything here is overpriced, and most of the staff were not apologetic about all the complaints from our group and other guests. The hotel is on the MLS NEXT recommended list, but not for long. I’ll report this to the main office. I usually only review places I like and don’t enjoy posting bad reviews, but people need to know. The hotel has serious moisture problems. The only positive interactions were with Ashley at the Irish Pub and Asia at the front desk. They both took their jobs seriously and gave friendly, quality service. I do not recommend this hotel.

The room faced the highway, and with single pane windows we heard cars all night. Sleeping was awful. The first elevator was unreliable too: buttons did nothing, then it stopped on random floors and wouldn’t move. It’s an older hotel, and they seem to have remodeled, but the workmanship was poor. Paint ran all over the bathroom glass, doors, and floor. I’ll pass next time.
