Our room wasn’t very clean. I found a sandwich bag wedged between the wall and dresser, and candy under the bed. I’d expect a spotless room if the hotel is going to nitpick every little stain. We stayed two days and chose not to have housekeeping, but when we asked the cleaning staff to exchange our used towels for clean ones, one of the women gave us a look like we were bothering her. The kitchen staff member didn’t understand English, which made communication difficult, though at least she wasn’t rude. At checkout, we were charged for stained sheets even though we hadn’t had service and had a do not disturb sign on the door. When we asked the front desk, they removed the charge, but after we’d left they messaged us that they were adding a charge for stained towels. We’ve never had a hotel charge us for that before. I wonder if they went into the room while we were out and checked the sheets. If you stay, bring your own sheets and towels so they can’t add charges to your bill. I’m surprised they didn’t charge us for putting trash in the bin or using the soap and body wash. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re willing to deal with extra charges and poor customer service.

The room was cozy, nice, and the A/C worked perfectly. I slept well and had no issues except for the towels. They were small and badly stained, almost like they had pee stains, so I had to ask for more 🤮. Customer service was great from the start.

They went the extra mile by calling to let me know there wouldn’t be housekeeping on Christmas. I’d already put the no thank you sign on the door, but they wanted to make sure I was taken care of. My king bedroom was spacious, completely clean, and didn’t look old. I’ve never stayed at a better Holiday Inn. There was even a nightlight in the bathroom.

The room was alright, and I slept okay despite the upstairs neighbor being really loud. Check-in usually feels like something to get through, since I arrive late and just want to get to bed and relax. The person who checked me in was a rock star, so kind, friendly, and full of personality. He made it memorable.

From check-in through checkout, this was a junk experience. I’m a Diamond member and have stayed at more than 180 IHG properties. This location is in my top five worst. The staff didn’t seem adequately trained, the parking lot couldn’t accommodate the cars, and my room was dirty when I arrived, with yellow and brown stains. The front desk wouldn’t accommodate my request to chain rooms because she said she was leaving in 20 minutes. I won’t be coming back.
