La Quinta Inn Suites By Wyndham Marble Falls

The breakfast bar was fresh and had plenty to choose from, and the staff at both breakfast and check-in were friendly. Our room had a balcony and a great view, along with a mini-fridge, microwave, plates, utensils, and a distinctive arch feature. The couch pillows felt soft and well made, and there was a sturdy luggage rack. The lamps looked modern, and a Gideon’s Bible was provided. Bright hallways have little alcoves for reading or meeting up, and the gazebo and picnic spot out front are nice extras. It felt like a resort without the resort price.

The quiet rooms are what really set this place apart for us. We rarely hear people in the hall or next door, which hasn't been our experience at many hotels. We're a family of four with two dogs, and there's enough room for all of us. The grounds are kept clean, and the lobby feels warm, with welcoming staff. Breakfast is top notch, especially the breakfast burritos and Texas shaped waffles, and the breakfast manager is so friendly. We stay here when we're visiting family, and every visit has been consistently amazing. We try to get back to our room for sunset, which is breathtaking. It's become the standard we compare other hotels against.

La Quinta made a great base for our drive through the Hill Country to see the Christmas lights. We hadn't visited the walkway of lights in 10 years, and wow, there were so many more lights. From the hotel, the lights reflecting on the Colorado River at night made for beautiful views. The hotel was clean, breakfast was great, and the service was wonderful.

I got stuck here during the recent ice storm because driving home wasn't safe. The staff and ownership helped with my luggage and went out of their way to keep me safe. The hotel is beautiful, spotless, and comfortable, with a great view. I highly recommend this La Quinta.
