The area was quiet, though there wasn't much around to look at beyond roads and houses. We came from out of town to visit family and called about a weeklong stay; we were quoted $250. After a couple of nights, we paid for another day or two. When that time was up, the wife knocked while I was fresh out of the shower and we hadn't packed because we'd just woken up. She told me to gather all our things and wait outside in the heat with my one-year-old son. My mom wasn't there to help right away, and the wife said she didn't care about that either. She was rude, rolled her eyes, gave dirty looks, and talked about us to other people. We asked the husband why we were being made to leave when we'd paid for a week and wanted one more paid night in another room. He'd quoted $100 per night over the phone, then said it was $140 in person. We did manage to switch rooms, and the wife gave us linens. They seem to change the prices between phone and in-person conversations. Nice quiet area, but shitty people running the place.

The owner was great, and the place felt like a little cottage. It had a kitchen sink and a big fridge. Great spot!

Rooms were updated and really clean, with everything we needed. It was affordable, and we could walk to our friend's place and a few restaurants.

Room 3 was clean and comfortable when I stayed one night in October 2024. There was no smell, and I had plenty of towels, plus a microwave and refrigerator. The coffee maker didn't seem to work, though. A couple things to know: the walls are thin enough that conversations next door carry through, and hot water took about four minutes of running the shower. The cash payment setup was a little odd too. I pressed the Ring button by the door, and the manager told me to put the money in the box, which I did. If you're used to staying at the Hilton, you might be disappointed, but this costs MUCH less than the Hilton, LOL.

The room was very clean and smelled that way, and the A/C worked great. I also liked the remote controlled ceiling fan. There was a full-size fridge, microwave, and Keurig. A small table or even somewhere to put a bag would help, and I had a hard time getting the TV to work. The bathroom is tight, and the toilet is really weak, so keep that in mind, haha. Fine place to sleep for a night.
