Hampton Inn Marion, IN

Breakfast was ready at 6, with plenty of seating and lots of good choices. They had eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal, yogurt, muffins, toast, bagels, and a waffle bar. My favorites are the blueberry waffles, though this morning I had banana bread waffles. There was juice and hot tea too. I'd come downstairs for fresh coffee after my 5 am wakeup call each morning, and never even needed to use the pot in my room. I've stayed three nights across two separate weeks. The rooms were clean, the staff were great, and there was a pool, fitness center, and ample parking. Wonderful hotel. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

I stayed here for about five months while relocating for work, and I'll miss the people a lot. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, but the staff are what make this place. Manager Rachel is so sweet and accommodating. Lee, Grace, and Lacy at the front desk always made me feel welcome, knew me by name, and were glad to see me back. Miss Shirley on nights is an absolute angel. Lori, if I've got her name right, makes the best breakfast and gives you a heads-up when the bacon is about to get extra crispy. Ragen, the evening clerk, is one of the sweetest young ladies, and I'll miss our nighttime talks and seeing the excitement of Marion, IN with her. And watch out for Calvin, he's going to do big things when he graduates high school! I'm sure I've missed some folks, and I'm sorry, but everyone here is genuinely lovely to be around. Thanks for all the hospitality. If you find yourself needing a room in Marion, IN, make this your first stop. The staff make you feel like family.

We found the room clean, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. Our shower pressure was very poor, though people we were with said theirs was great, so maybe it was just our room. Breakfast wasn't much to talk about. The sausage and potatoes were good, and there were waffles, muffins, and other items, but the eggs were very watery. The coffee was god awful, like it had been sitting out for hours. Stay here if you like, but get breakfast somewhere else.

Grace at the front desk was excellent. She was welcoming, helpful with everything, and knew me by name. She made sure I didn't have any issues at the hotel. Great room and a great stay.
