The room was a decent value, and I'd stay again. It was clean, everything worked, and it had a mini fridge and microwave. The location is handy, just off Route 13 and I-57, and the staff were friendly. The walls had fresh paint and the bathroom had been remodeled, though the rest of the upgrades still seem unfinished. The furnishings are dated, the carpet needs replacing, and there was an odor that seemed to come from it. Breakfast was the same both days I stayed: biscuits and gravy, a waffle maker, cereal, and toast. No fruit or meat, and not much choice. If breakfast matters to you, there are plenty of restaurants within a mile or two.

The only hassle was parking on the second night. Two vehicles, a van and a truck, both with trailers, were parked across four or five spaces. To those selfish people, may you have the day you deserve. Otherwise, I stayed two nights and was comfortable. The women at the front desk were really friendly at check-in. The rooms were quiet, the shower stayed hot the whole time, and the linens and towels were fresh, crisp, and white.

The hallways were dingy and dirty, and the breakfast area wasn't clean either. In the room, the furnishings were worn and dirty, the towels were stained, and there was no shampoo. The bathroom walls had holes, and the smoke detector didn't work. Breakfast choices were limited.

For a budget hotel, I got more than I expected. I was there for one night and had no problems. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable, the A/C worked well, and the TV had plenty of channels. There was also a fridge and microwave, and the bathroom was clean with good water pressure. Breakfast had a waffle maker, biscuits and gravy, toast, and cereal. McDonald's is next door if you want something else. I'd stay again if I were in the area. This is a two-star place, so some of the complaints I've read don't seem fair for a budget hotel.
