Courtyard by Marriott Boston Marlborough

I’m here with my senior mother, who has a disability, and kids running through the lobby and Bistro with footballs and hockey sticks could easily hurt her. After 7 pm, I asked Fallon at the desk to address the group. She brushed it off with, “well, they are kids”. I told her the horseplay wasn’t appropriate there and that I hoped the hotel, the parents, and Fallon would face lawsuits if someone got hurt. She eventually told the parents I was a complainer and said she’d set the kids up in the game room, but they kept running back and forth. Fallon offered me a free dinner to smooth things over, which I declined. My mother stays here regularly, but this may be the end of that. Fallon’s lack of concern showed me how little she cares about anyone. On my first visit to this location, the cleanliness was excellent, as I’ve found at Marriott properties. The Bistro is my favorite part: comfortable and convenient, with Starbucks coffee. Amanda, the morning barista, is phenomenal. Somehow she remembers clients and their drinks even months later. She’s friendly, quick, and great with people.

I’ve stayed here several times for work, and it’s always been a good experience. Amanda, who works at the Starbucks and breakfast area, is the best part of the hotel. She’s cheerful and helpful, and made every morning great. The rooms and gym could use some maintenance, but overall I’ve had a good stay.

Kristin at the front desk was great, and Amanda went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of. The hotel is nice and well kept, and the gym is awesome. I’ll definitely stay here again.

The staff are super friendly, and there’s an indoor pool, fitness center, conference rooms, and a business center. Nothing was really wrong with the place. I just would’ve liked a room with a microwave, but you can’t have everything.
