The front desk woman was friendly and really helpful, even at 2 a.m. The shower was incredible, like standing under a warm waterfall, and a good shower makes me feel like a million bucks when I'm on the road all the time. The rooms are cute and cozy, with obvious remodeling. It's a nice, comfortable place, and for $50 a night I'd stay anytime. There was enough parking for a 60-foot truck that night, at least. My only real gripe is the plastic mattress cover, but it's not enough to bother me much since I'll be asleep soon. I stay in a different hotel nearly every night for work. I guess the older reviews are from when this place used to be a dump, but now it's nice and serves its purpose well.

The room itself was clean apart from the bathroom, but at $80 a night it didn't feel worth it. The shower was very dirty, with lots of black stuff on the grout and tiles. I wished I'd brought flip-flops. The toilet seat and bowl had black dots that looked almost like mold, though I can't imagine they actually were. There wasn't anywhere else to go in this very small town. The older woman at the front desk was polite and sweet, and even insisted on walking us up to our room.

The room was tiny, with a 1950s look and feel, a small shower, and some unexplained smell. There was no refrigerator or ice machine. A long-term renter watched TV noisily all night, until I finally asked her at 4 a.m. to turn it down. Someone in another room was coughing terribly. I used my own pillow and towel. Try to avoid staying here if you can. I don't understand why people call it quaint.

The desk staff were friendly, which was the best part. The room was very small, the shower was too small even for someone little like me, and the long-term guests were noisy. The smoke detectors screeched at random times during the night, and the room didn't feel clean enough. Glad I'd brought my own pillow.

It's not glamorous, but it's very clean, with comfy beds and all the amenities you need. The staff are awesome, friendly, and accommodating. Prices are very reasonable too, and it's a good place for a late-night check-in when you're traveling and need a break from the road.
