The location worked well, with several stores close enough to walk to, and the service was okay. The room itself felt very dark and unwelcoming. The pillows were about half the usual size and smelled strongly of body odor. It didn’t seem like they were using good detergent.

The whole hotel was spotless, and our room was exceptionally clean. Breakfast had a good mix of hot and cold choices, and the pool looked nice, though we didn’t use it. Check-in went smoothly thanks to a very kind, helpful clerk. We lost our keycard almost as soon as we got to the room, but he just laughed it off and made us another one. The outside is cute, decorated to look like a train station. If we return to Marshall, we’d definitely stay here again.

After getting into Marshall late at night, I was glad to find a clean, well-kept room at Comfort Inn Marshall Station. The staff were genuinely friendly and very helpful, and breakfast was great too. I had a great stay and will definitely come back.

The staff member was rude both times we reported bugs and never apologized or showed any concern. She moved us from one room to another as if it were normal. In the first room, there were bed bugs and a strong musty smell. Less than 10 minutes after settling into the second room, we spotted another bug crawling on the mattress, so we went straight back to the desk. The whole experience was disgusting and completely unacceptable. This place is unhygienic. I’d give it zero stars if I could. Do not stay here.
