If you’re staying here with a dog over 40 lbs, you may want to double-check the policy. We stayed on November 8 with our dog and had no problems, then came back on 11/13/25, arriving around 5-5:30 pm, on our way home. The woman at the counter asked the dog’s weight, and when I said about 58 lbs, she told us dogs had to be under 40 lbs and wouldn’t let her stay. We explained we’d been there just days earlier with the same dog and no one asked her weight, but the woman said that was the policy. She couldn’t explain why weight mattered when I asked. Our dog is 13 and calm. I know 10 lb dogs that are more rambunctious, so it doesn’t make sense to me. Apparently it depends who’s working at the counter that day.

The room had been cleaned, though it could use a thorough detailing. The mattress was nicely soft, but the pillows were flat and hard. Since we stayed several days, I bought a softer pillow in town.

After six days on the road, I’d reserved a room so my family and I could get a real bed to sleep in. When we arrived, the woman at the counter cancelled the reservation. The people were straight-up rude and the customer service was garbage. Don’t put yourself through that, stay somewhere else. The motel next to Waffle House is a million times better, and they’re so nice there.

Best shower I’ve ever had in a hotel or motel. The people were great and nice, and there was the cutest little boy. If I’m back this way, I’ll definitely stop there again. Thank you!

They gave my reservation away to someone who said they had two bookings. My app even showed that I’d checked in, though I hadn’t. The front desk woman was very rude despite my having the reservation emails and app details. How were they able to change the name and everything?
