The Yankee Clipper Inn

Breakfast was made to order each morning and delicious, and the housekeeping team kept everything spotless. The views from the room and dining area were stunning. Kamron was warm, genuine, and gave us exceptional service from beginning to end. This was our most enjoyable stay yet, a 10/10. Can't wait to return!

We enjoyed our stay, though some small maintenance details left us a bit sad. Parts of the wood and floor could use fresh paint, wallpaper was peeling in places, and some wires were exposed. The grounds had similar signs of careless building or repairs, including rusty nails in the pergola and wobbly viewing platforms under the Adirondack chairs. Our room wasn't soundproof, so we could hear people talking or coughing in other rooms, music from the dining room starting at 8 in the morning, and the concierge talking downstairs. It didn't bother us much since we were already awake, but it's something to consider if noise matters to you. The hotel sits on a short cliff above the sound and Rockport, with well-kept grounds and several spots to sit and take in the view. There's a pool, though we visited in late October and didn't get to use it. Staff were really friendly and ready to help. The made-to-order breakfast was delicious, with fresh juices and daily specials, and each table had a slip guests could fill out to request things like extra towels or room service. I can't speak for the other rooms, but ours looked like an old lady lived there before someone ambushed it with a big-screen TV and split A/C system. The A/C was very quiet and set to heat for the season. The TV was fairly modern, and we could connect our phones to cast music and pictures. We'd like to see some improvements before our next visit.

We were incredibly lucky to get a last-minute room at the Yankee Clipper after someone cancelled. The views were exquisite, but Cameron made the biggest difference to our stay. His suggestions made it feel magical, and his warm greetings always made us feel special. Thank you, Cameron!

The ocean views are incredible, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. Breakfast is cooked to order and was really tasty. It’s a very nice, clean bed and breakfast spread across a few buildings: the main inn, one across the street, and another two houses down. It’s a little outside Rockport center.
