Luxbury Inn & Suites

My wife is very particular about cleanliness, so she checked the room carefully with her black light. It was clean, organized, and very nice. The price was excellent, and the woman at the desk was friendly and personable. We stayed Saturday night last weekend, felt comfortable, and will definitely come back. I’d recommend this place.

The staff were very friendly, breakfast was good, and the Thursday and Friday rates were reasonable. We were pleased with the accommodations and would stay again when traveling to the Knoxville area. Our lower-level room was clean, well lit, and had its own entrance with parking right outside. It felt more like a small apartment than a hotel room: a large room with a small kitchen, a separate sitting room with its own TV, and another TV in the bedroom. Heating came from an individual furnace rather than a window unit, and an individual heat pump outside provided cooling. The location is close to restaurants, Foothills Mall, Plublix, and Kroger. Breakfast included fresh eggs rather than powdered ones, biscuits and gravy, and waffles.

They put a $100 hold on your card, supposedly to return when you leave, but they charged me $75 for my service dog. She’s a trained seizure alert dog who detects when I’m about to have a seizure, not an emotional support dog. They charged me because she’s small. I don’t recommend this place. They weren’t friendly or pet friendly, and I believe charging for my service dog discriminates against my disability and goes against federal law.

This hotel lies and tried to charge our in-laws for visiting us, acting as if any visitors were staying there. We stayed at a Best Western instead. Go a little farther down the road to the shed, and don’t trust the fake good reviews. I’m adding photos of white and brown bugs, and will post more when I can. Local high school students also pass through the parking lot between 10 and 1 am and mess with cars. I’ll update with photos as soon as possible.
