The room was fine for a night, with comfortable beds and a quiet atmosphere. The lobby looked very nice, and the staff were nice too. The bathroom was spacious, with great water pressure and hot water, though the shower tile grout could use replacing. I would've liked another bedside table on the window side. I'd recommend it for an overnight stay or weekend trip.

The place was super clean, and the staff were really friendly. I enjoyed my stay, especially the pool and hot tub. They also serve breakfast in the morning.

It was quiet and clean, though clearly an older hotel. It's tucked off US-31 in a somewhat random spot, which keeps outside noise down. The place seemed very short-staffed, with no desk service after midnight. I should mention I visited outside the busy summer season.

The staff were VERY NICE, POLITE, AND ACCOMMODATING, but for nearly $700 for two nights, this wasn't worth it. We were meant to have a handicapped-accessible room with two queen beds, but got one bed and a pull-out sofa with a terrible mattress. The bed was okay, though its top blanket looked like a curtain, which was weird. The air conditioning worked by the bed, but the wall unit by the sofa didn't. It said air conditioner, but the office told us it was a heater and gave us a fan. The advertised kitchenette was just a countertop and mini fridge. They brought us a microwave, but there was no basic silverware, so we bought plastic utensils and had cold cuts instead of the light cooking we'd planned. The pool and hot tub were nice, but there were never towels. I went into the laundry area and grabbed some for the kids. The ice machine was on the second floor, no big deal, though usually there's one per floor. The single snack machine was empty. We'll find somewhere else next time for that price, sorry.

Even in the off-season, when there were very few guests, the service was wonderful. The hotel and its setting are beautiful. The buffet didn't have hot eggs or sausage, but there were plenty of other things to eat if you aren't Celiac and can have wheat. The kind gentleman who runs the place surprised me by going into the kitchen, frying eggs, and bringing them out so I could have a hot breakfast before leaving. ❤️
